And guess what? Smith's Rosebud Salve is a cult favourite that is loved by beauty editors, makeup artists and celebrities as the perfect lip balm for soft, kissable, slightly rose-tinted lips.
First made by pharmacist George F. Smith in 1892 (the company is still owned and run by George's descendants), and packaged in a cute old-fashioned tin designed in 1962, Smith's Rosebud Salve is also great for chapped skin, nappy rash, blemishes, detergent burns, and rough cuticles and hands.

I've got the Rosebud, Brambleberry, Strawberry and Minted Rose. I personally like Minted Rose best as it feels refreshing when the wind blows against my face. I've been using my tin of minted rose since mid 2007 and I'm only halfway there =D If u're a mum, it comes in real handy for ur little kids when they have nappy rash, bites etc. It can be applied on any chaffed skin, dry areas of ur body or rough cuticles. Now my whole family is using it, even my mum who does not like anything on her lips. Most of them gives a shine on ur lips which I simply adore! =D
I use Brambleberry Rose before I go to sleep and Minted Rose/Rosebud during the day.
Note: Do not leave them in ur car on a hot day as they will melt due to the extreme heat. If u happen to do so, only open it when u feel it is cool enough. The tin can be heated up gently to melt it back to it's shape =) I've tried it myself as I've left it in my super warm room when summer in Victoria was 47 degrees.

Smith's Mentholated Salve
Smith's mentholated salve was prepared by the same druggist, G.F. Smith, who perfected Rosebud Salve. The mentholated salve is a cooling salve designed to soothe minor skin irritations, especially those associated with colds, allergies, minor burns, and insects stings. (G.F.'s youngest daughter, Millie, always said that father insisted this was the best relief for the sore-red-dry-itchy nose caused by a cold)

Our Minted Rose Lip Balm will impart moisture, gloss, and freshness to your lips. A formula of G.F. Smith with the "zing" of peppermint and the soothing qualities of rose oils.
Contains a blend of Essential Oils (Aromol) and cotton seed oil in a special petrolatum base.

Strawberry Lip Balm and Moisturizer
Rosebud's second most popular product, this balm is formulated to protect and moisturize the lips, as well as cuticles and elbows from the drying effects of weather. The aroma of strawberry shortcakes attracts the young and old, alike! This balm was formulated by G.F.Smith's grandson, Allen R. Smith, Jr., in the early 1970s. The tin was designed by G.F.Smith's great-granddaughter, Linda Pruitt Michielli who has just recently formulated and designed the newest product, Minted Rose.

Mocha Rose with Vanilla
Mocha Rose Lip Balm is a blend of Trade Secret Essential Oils in a special Petrolatum base infused with Mocha, Chocolate and Vanilla "coffee shop" flavors.
Ingredients: Petrolatum, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Beeswax, Tocopherol, Red 7, Carmine (CI 75470), Cocoa Extract, Vanilla Planifolia Extract
I think this is a new flavour cuz I certainly didn't see this when I bought the rest of my lip balms. This is more expensive in retail shops but as I'm getting from supplier, it will only cost the same as the rest. $14 per tin. I've not tried it personally though =)
